What is your Covid / Monkeypox policy?
Our team at JJ Photos is fully vaccinated. We take your health and safety seriously! Our policy includes measures that actively mitigate the spread of coronavirus. It is important that we all respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions. We assure you that we will always treat your private health with high confidentiality and sensitivity. Before you arrive for your appointment, if you have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, or if you or anyone you have been in contact with have a positive COVID-19 / Monkeypox diagnosis, please reschedule your appointment.
What should I wear for my photoshoot?
I recommend to bring multiple outfits (even if we don’t get a chance to wear them all in the session, its great to have backups and options) and usually solid colors, small patterns often don’t show up the same on camera. It’s nice to bring a casual outfit and then a more formal one. If you are a family or couple, coordinating colors a little bit is also nice.
Can I do my portraits in the studio and on location?
Many choose to do their shoot in studio and on location. Usually starting in the studio, so any outfit changes can be done before we depart for the location. However, if your desired spot for photos is far away from our home studio in Fairfax Station we might have to split your portrait session into a two-day shoot. We also can bring the studio to you with our portable backdrops, this is great for families that want to get portraits in their home and then after in their backyard or a nearby park.
Will you come to our office to take photos of our business?
Absolutely! We can capture your office environment for branding purposes as well as bring a backdrop for employee headshots. For a corporate event, conference or sales meeting, we can also take headshots of employees who may live out of town.
How long until I receive my images?
We realize you need your portraits as soon as possible, and we work to make sure you receive your images in a timely fashion. The average turnaround for our portrait photography is one week. For clients that need photos delivered sooner we may provide photos sooner for an expedited fee.
